How To Bid & Pay On The Night
Silent Auction 2008
Place your bid for the items that you fall in love with by simply writing your bidding number and the price you
are prepared to pay. From 9.00pm onwards items will begin to disappear (marking the end of that item being available for bidding).
These are all predetermined so as to not cause any dismay. So, be sure to write in your very best offer to avoid disappointment.
Once recorded, the item will be brought to you (unless it is too large). You are required to record this
item and the price on your order form.
Major Silent Auction 2008
The Major Silent Auction items are items that might normally have been considered for inclusion in the Main
Auction. To save time on the night, you will bid on paper for them. The amounts for the bidding are listed on the left hand side
of the card that is next to the item on the table. You simply put your bidding number next to the amount that you wish to bid. The
highest bid received wins the auction.
All items have an expected amount that they should reach. In the event that an item in the Major Silent
Auction does not reach the amount it will go to the floor for a 60 SECOND SUDDEN DEATH AUCTION.
Payment: Cash/Cheque/Credit Card
Your purchases are made by bidding for an item and you being the successful bidder. Your bidding number is
the same as the number on your dinner auction ticket. All purchases will be recorded and one payment is made at the conclusion of the
evening. Please write each purchase on your Auction Order Form and tally up before presenting at the payment table.
If paying by credit card, please record your card details in the section provided.
If paying by cheque, please make payable to ST THOMAS AQUINAS COLLEGE P&F.
We wish you a most enjoyable evening and thank you for participating in this event to help raise funds for our
College.
